Owner Nick Tyrrell first used GoBoat on a trip to Stockholm two years ago with his wife for a friend's wedding. He left a corporate desk job to bring the business to Canberra with the aim of Mr Tyrrell said that GoBoat started in Copenhagen in 2014 and currently also operates in Stockholm and Malmo in Sweden and Aalborg in Denmark.
